PRE-CONFERENCE EVENT DETAILS

WORKSHOP

Workshop on 5G and Software Defined Networking (SDN)

As a pre-conference event, we had the honorable Prof. Madhusanka Liyanage from the University of Oulu located in Finland to conduct a workshop for three days in the domain of 5G and Software Defined Networking (SDN). The digital transformation of network infrastructure through Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is anticipated to play a pivotal role with respect to the commercialization of 5G. There are several major architectural obstacles facing 5G networks, which can only be overcome leveraging NFV and SDN. The workshop is focused on developing the basic knowledge of students on SDN and NFV technologies which are the foundation of 5G networks. Moreover, it offers the opportunity for students to run SDN experiments on Emulated environments.

IDEATHON & Ph.D. FORUM

SSIC also glorified the submission of many exemplary ideas and innovations in the fields of Computer Science and Technology. There were many felicitations for the papers presented in the PHD Forum. On the other hand, Ideathon attracted students from various colleges and universities to showcase their ideas on a respected platform.
